# gigs.claims

> Flat-fee claim files for licensed carrier-side adjusters: about 10 to 30 minutes each, from a phone, with the fee fixed before the adjuster claims the file and identical whatever they decide.

gigs.claims is the supply side of api.insure. Carriers and builders call api.insure; when a claim reaches an act reserved to a licensed adjuster, a matched adjuster on gigs.claims adjusts the prepared file: attest, send back or decline. Public adjusters are not part of this network.
